More snow!!!

Well we've been dumped on again! We woke up this morning to inches more snow. Everything was closed -- even Virginia Tech (although David still had to go in for half a day).

Daisy has another cold, so she's not felt great today, and she's slept (and spit up) a lot. But this afternoon, she's brightened up.

Papa Chinn will post some video later, but here's a pic of Daisy playing and resting...

Snow days...

Yesterday was a snow day, today is a snow day... tomorrow they are calling for sun and I hope we can get out of the house. :)

Today, Daisy tried out some "new" toys.

Kati loaned us a jumper... Daisy is still a little young for it, but I think she'll love it.

My sister gave us a Rainforest Jumperoo playstation. Daisy has loved getting in this and playing around.

We've been just hanging around today...Daisy has played some music while we watched the snow.

S-N-O-W!

Yay! Just like the rest of Virginia (and the South), we got a huge snowstorm yesterday and last night! Okay, we didn't get as much as some folks, but they were calling for 1-3 inches here and we got 6. I'll take that anytime!

Below are some pics from this morning... as you guessed, I have a snow day from school! :) David also had a 2-hour delay -- a rare thing for VT.

Rescued by the white stuff...

That's right. It's a snow day. Oh how I desperately needed one.

We returned home safely on Monday night from our trip to France. I promise soon I'll post an update and some more pics from our week in Paris. But we got back late Monday and Tuesday morning it was back to work. I've had trouble sleeping the past several nights, and have had things each evening. So David has been doing laundry and taking down Christmas decorations when he gets home each night.

Today is my turn to help out...I desperately need to get our bedroom in order to start the new year. I have bags and stacks of clothing and you name it stacked up everywhere. It's time to make some sense of the mess and get our bedroom uncluttered.

Yes, the snow couldn't have come at a better time. The white stuff saves the day!

FIRST SNOW DAY!

Can you believe it?!!!???!!?!?!?

Actually, I cannot. I woke up this morning to a 2-hour delay, which had me giddy enough since it would allow me time to finish reading a book I've been engrossed in before work.

I walked to campus as usual with David, but instead of getting on the bus to meet my carpool peeps, I stayed in the library and read. During that time, they ended up canceling Giles Co. for the day. So I am still sitting in the library on campus at VT, figuring out my plans for the rest of the day and what most needs my attention.

Below are a few pics from this morning's snow!!!!
