Daisy's day

Daddy and Daisy spent some quality time together today. As mentioned in a previous post, Daisy has discovered her lips and tongue and how to put them together to blow bubbles and make a 'motorboat' noise. She has also discovered not one, but two hands. She's not quite sure who they belong to, but she is fascinated by them, none the less. Here's a short video clip where she is making her motorboat noise, which is then interrupted with the rediscovery of her hand, followed by her rediscovery of the motorboat!

Updated Posts

I just took the time to quickly publish a few drafts I had started over the weekend but hadn't finished. We should now be caught up, for those of you who have been anxious for updates... :) Just scroll down to get caught up!

I found my hands!

Over the past several weeks, Daisy has discovered her hand. I have been trying to collect pictures without her noticing...

This time she caught me taking pics:

And finally, here's one from this morning:

Happy Daisy

I know I owe an update soon of the new year, but for now, two short videos from just now.

While we ate dinner tonight, Daisy cooed to us and "played" her keyboard.

Isn't she precious?

Sunday

We had church again in Jax, and it was super cold outside. BRRRRRR!

Here is Daisy bundled up to go:

Everyone loved her hat:

After church, we watched the Bears. They won! :)

Daisy then played her musical toy while we got some things done to get ready for tomorrow. Back to a regular week of work!

New Years Weekend

Yesterday (Friday) we slept in and did a lot of relaxing and watching football. We did some housework, but mostly relaxed. After all, it was a holiday.

David made some yummy burgers for dinner. Mine had avacado on it:

Our friends Ben and Anna were in town for a wedding and spent the night at our place. David made a tasty French toast breakfast this morning using a recipe he saw watching Food Network.

Later in the day, we took naps on the couch and watched some more football. There were a lot of good games this weekend, with a lot of bad kicking. So many teams won/lost because of missed field goals and extra points!

Here's David and Daisy snuggling

Then Daisy took a nap on my shoulder:

Great day, staying warm inside relaxing as a family.

Unpacking

Today has consisted mostly of unpacking from our full week out of town.

Here's a pic of Daisy modeling two gifts from Gramma Chinn:

After sorting through our stacks of gifts, here's what our Christmas haul looked like.

I feel very fortunate and blessed!
