Saturday Morning

Relaxing Saturday morning snuggling as a family...

Date!

For only the 3rd time since Rose was born, David and I went on a date. Jeanette (Daisy's godmother and our dear friend) volunteered to watch the girls so we could go on a valentine's date. Daisy and Jeanette shared chicken nuggets, mac n' cheese and broccoli for dinner, while mommy and daddy headed out for a real meal!
We decided to go use a gift card we had for the River Company restaurant over in Fairlawn. Our meal was not disappointing.


Every time we go, David talks about getting one of the nicest steaks, but usually we are too cheap. This time, since we had a gift card, we decided we could swing it. He said it was one of the best steaks he had eaten in a long time!

I had the California chicken sandwich, which included grilled chicken with bacon, avocado, and cheese. It was very tasty as well.



We split creme brulee for dessert.


Overall, it was a nice dinner with time to talk and enjoy each other's company. And the girls had a lot of fun with Aunt Jeanette.

Happy Valentine's Day

This morning, we celebrated Valentine's Day over breakfast.

Daisy got a bag from mommy & daddy that included some slippers, socks, and a Veggietales video.


Daddy got a card from Daisy and Rose that included a shipping slip for some actual daisy and rose plants for him to put in the yard.

Mommy got a hi-visibility hoodie to run in (during low-light hours) and a new basketball!

Rose got a little bear holding a rose. She decided it looked tasty. :)

Happy Valentine's Day everyone. We had a day filled with love! Tomorrow, Daddy and Mommy are going on a date, thanks to Jeanette babysitting
