Papa

Today, we got some sad news. Papa (my mom's father) passed away at his home in Tappahannock. It was unexpected but not a total surprise, as he has had some health struggles.

I wrote about Mema and Papa two years ago when they celebrated their 60th anniversary.

This pic was from 2 years ago, but they just celebrated 62 years on Saturday.

I have always admired papa and will miss him dearly, but I'm glad to know he's hanging out with Jesus and no longer in pain.
